Description
Using Virtual Reality hardware, specifically with the Oculus Rift (3D vision goggles), simulating different environments. These simulations would specifically be focused on free-falling or flying, but may include things from different altitudes, weather fronts (but not necessarily weather), climates or possibly vehicles. We plan to show and demonstrate different sub-components of the entire project experience of the simulation. We plan to have hardware components for the audience (who are outside the simulation system) to look at, as well as having different variables and simulations for the participant (who is inside the simulator) to choose from and experiment with. This would show people different environments, experiences, hardware and STEM applications and careers into which they could go.
