Description
This project deals with a musical rendition of the Rubik’s cube, called
‘CubeHarmonic,’ thought by Maria Mannone in 2013, and described in the book “Cool Math for Hot
Music,” published by Springer. In 2016, she made a first prototype, with sound modules—as the
ones used in greetings cards—applied on each facet of an extra-large sized Rubik’s cube. By
using smaller sound modules, we can be able to make a Cubeharmonic out of a normal-size
Rubik’s cube. This project aims to build smaller audio modules.
